Jason Gaskin was born in Glendale, Arizona and grew up in Niceville, Florida. He has worked on staff at First United Methodist Church of Niceville, Shores United Methodist Church, ; Orange Beach United Methodist Church.  Most recently Jason served as Associate pastor for the past 4 and half years at Pleasant Green UMC. Jason was appointed to the Locust Hill/Bethel Charge September of 2014.

Jason attended Flagler College, in St. Augustine where he received a degree in Psychology with a minor emphasis in youth ministry. During his time at Flagler Jason was a Youth Minister at Shores United Methodist. Throughout his senior year Jason felt a deeper calling towards ordained ministry.  In 2008 Jason completed his Masters degree in Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary.

 Jason loves ministry and loves people. He loves seeing people connect with God and others in community. He has a passion for communicating God’s relentless love for all. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his wonderful wife Kiah, write and play music, read a variety of books, and watch Duke basketball!! And is excited to start writing in first person again.
